# x402receipts

> Accounting infrastructure for autonomous spending: every x402 purchase an agent makes becomes a receipt, reconciled against the on-chain transaction, with missing or unmatched payments identified, monthly statements and exports for the books, and independently verifiable evidence.

x402receipts is a service for AI agents that pay for things over the x402 protocol (HTTP 402). It records what was bought, from whom, for how much, and whether it was delivered; checks the record against on-chain payments (Base, Solana); and anchors a fingerprint of every receipt on a public ledger so the record can't be rewritten.

## How an agent uses it

- No signup. The agent sends receipts to `POST https://app.x402receipts.com/api/v1/receipts` and pays USD 1 per calendar month over x402, in USDC, from its own wallet (Base or Solana); every upload for the rest of the month is free. The paying wallet becomes its account.
- The SDK is one TypeScript file with no dependencies: `https://app.x402receipts.com/sdk`. Wrap the agent's fetch with `withRegister(fetch, { payWith: () => payingFetch })` inside the x402 payment wrapper.
- People sign in with the same wallet at `https://app.x402receipts.com/login` and see monthly statements, exports and proofs.

- At month end an account can be closed: the period statement states, per wallet, the payments seen on-chain, how many have a receipt, and the unmatched ones — and its fingerprint is anchored on the public ledger.
